Accident & Surgery Related Hair Loss

Hair loss can be caused when a person received surgery for an unrelated illness. IT can be caused by scarring, medication or shock induced telogen effluvium.

In some cases, where the sufferer is otherwise healthy the hair can regrow after a period of time, where in other instances it may not and although it can be a common occurrence, most people will be unaware of this type of hair loss until they are directly affected by it and thus can be unprepared or ill informed of the available options.
